Bioenergy derived from small-scale, sustainable forest management utilizes the solar energy stored through photosynthesis whilst reducing wildfire risk, enhancing forest health, maintaining biodiversity, supporting local rural economies, and providing a reliable, available, and affordable carbon neutral alternative to fossil fuel heat in residential, commercial, and institutional settings.
